San Diego Moving Company, Movers Dealing With Coronavirus (COVID-19)

At WE LIKE TO MOVE IT Moving Company, it is our job as a leader in household good transportation and logistics to plan for challenges and disruption to our customer’ daily lives. It is what you trust us to do. Today Coronavirus (COVID-19) is at the top of that list. As the situation continues to evolve in the world and San Diego, we are monitoring its development and potential impact to you.

First and foremost, the safety of our customers, employees, and consumers and communities is our number one priority. According to the CDC, the transportation and logistics industry may be particularly affected by the Coronavirus.

We are a small local company, closely monitoring our operation. Everyone is full time, we do not hire sub-contractors or day labors, no one has traveled.

Our new policies include:

Any staff who shows symptoms of sickness are to stay home/ sent home. (Fortunately, has not happen)
If our staff shows up to a shipper’s home and a client shows symptoms, we are obligated to leave immediately.
Our warehouse staff has removed all moving blankets, and are using new ones, which are disinfected with Lysol spray after every move.
All moving equipment is wiped down with disinfectant after every move.
Gloves are worn for the workers protection, which is usually standard for moving.
Masks are worn.

If you’d like us to take any other precautions, ex: wiping down furniture with disinfectant before/after, we are happier to do so. That is something we would recommend doing before movers come, or we can do it on the clock.

We will ask for you to provide disinfectant if you’d like us to wipe down furniture due to the lack/limitations of.

We will continue to monitor this serious and fluid situation. We will update you on any plans or changes as new information is made available. Most of all, we will continue to work with you to ensure all your transportation and logistics needs are met.
